Bert Green Fine Art partners with specialty print houses to publish original limited edition lithographs, letterpress, archival pigment prints, serigraphs, and photographic prints. We also make available prints and editions by other publishers, and source prints directly from artist's studios.
Aardvark has been providing high quality letterpress printing and other related services since 1968. They are a family business started by their father, Luis Ocon, who immigrated from Mexico in 1964. In 2008, Aardvark initiated a fine art print division, which was expanded in 2014 to produce a regular series of high quality limited edition prints by artists from Los Angeles and beyond.
Gallery publishing partner Aardvark Letterpress is profiled in a short documentary film on Vimeo. Also, Gallery friend Nic Cha Kim has made a Spectrum News segment about Aardvark.
Bert Green Fine Art and Aardvark Letterpress partnered to publish a pair of limited edition prints to commemorate the founding of Aardvark Letterpress in the late 1960s. Gajin Fujita and Shepard Fairey created the first 2 prints in the 50th Anniversary Series.
Delayed by the pandemic, the series will be continue to be expanded past the 50th Anniversary.
In 2008, Aardvark Letterpress initiated their first fine art publishing effort, the Los Angeles Loteria, to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the shop.
